Tiffany and Brian's day was surrounded by smiles and tears of joy as they made their committment to each other. They were surrounded by friends and family and several little ones that really made things interesting.
Check out the second part tomorrow.
Also, check Ashley's blog for more images from that day.
A detail from Tiffany's dress.

She looked so beautiful that day!
Her son came over from the guy's room to take a few pictures with his mom, the bride.
The little man in her life.

And the big man in her life, Brian.
I thought it was a neat moment because he stopped in front of the cross to look for a little bit and I was able to catch his eyes reflecting back, all in about 3 seconds.

It's that time of year again..........
What do Hilary Swank, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Vivica Fox, Jamie Pressly, Tom Green, Lisa Kudrow, Laurence Fishburne, Delta Burke, Henry Ford, Emily Bronte, my high school band director, my friend's mom, two of my friends's dads, and I have in common?
It's our birthday today.
Yes, yes, it's true. And I hesitated to write that it's my birthday because it's almost like I'm fishing for comments, but I'm not. In fact, DON'T COMMENT! I mean it. (We'll see how this reverse psychology works ;) )
Thanks to all who have emailed me, texted me, facebooked me, and face-to-faced me (wow, anything can be made into a noun.)
I received a fun gift last night from Ashley at the David Jay/ Jasmine Star workshop that was of the Hoops and YoYo theme. If you don't know who they are, check them out because they are funny. And also a year's supply of Orbit gum. So if you're in need of gum, come ask me. I will probably most definitely have some. And maybe even various flavors to choose from.
I had breakfast with Susan, Dan, and Susan's parents (her father also has a birthday today), and she unveiled the Shootsac cover that she'd made for me that she was so proud of. She'd been waiting for so long to give it to me. It's a beautiful pattern with different shades and patterns of blue and other colors. It's really nice.
But it's a work day, nonetheless. There's still stuff to do. But I may go out to dinner with my family tonight at Buca di Beppo, which I love so much.
And for all of you un-Birthdayers, have a great day.

Media Monday
You know how some businesses ask you 'How did you hear about us?' And some of the options include 'Friend', 'online search', etc. Well, I think a new option should be 'my GPS.' I had to get an oil change today (and absolutely no later because I was 500+ miles over) and since I was still housesitting at my friends' house, I wasn't familiar with the area. So I looked for an automative service on my GPS and found one. Not the best option I could have found, but it worked nonetheless.
What is Blu-Ray? I hear about it and I know they're expensive but what is it exactly? Can I watch them on any DVD player? Or special Blu-Ray DVD players? Any answers?
Lately I've seen a few commercials that I've either really liked or think are just not so great. For instance, I really don't like the Sonic commercials. I don't get them, they seem kind of lame to me. There's one that I thought was so funny, but I can't remember what it was. I'll try to remember.....
I've been to the movies twice in the past week. I finally saw the new Chronicles of Narnia, which I thought was so great. It was so neat to see them back in Narnia and to see how things would turn out when you feel like there weren't any options. I'm speaking vaguely because I don't want to ruin the ending. The other movie I saw was the new Batman movie. Ok, wow. Yes, Heath Ledger did an amazing job in this movie. I can't really recall any other movies I've seen by him, but he did great in this one. I kept being surprised by each turn of events. Again, I don't want to give anything away, but I will give it two thumbs up.

Baby Kemper's newborn session
Meet my new little cousin! He was born in the evening after a long labor - I know his mommy was so happy when he was finally born. So we scheduled a session for a week later to catch him while he's still in his sleeping stage. Except that he barely went to sleep, so we had to scrap the idea of taking sleeping pictures :( I think I just have the touch for babies NOT wanting to sleep. Oh well. This just gave us the chance to see his eyes more. So meet big Baby Kemper.

Jessica and Jordan's reception
You may recognize Jessica and Jordan from their engagement session back in March. And then Jessica from her beautiful shower. So, it's time for their wedding! Actually, they were married in Florida and then had a wonderfully fun reception at Maggiano's in Houston after they got back.
Check out the pictures below of all the fun moments and crazy dancing that was going on. One of the things that made this reception unique was the set of Pearl Jam songs that they danced to. I never knew it was possible, but now I'm convinced that yes, you can dance to Pearl Jam :)
To see the rest of the images, go to my website http://www.karellephotography.com/ and click on 'Digital Studio' on the far right. From there, follow the instructions and look for Jessica and Jordan's Reception. You'll see the images that are on my blog and the rest of the images.
They had some lovely flowers to decorate the room that really added a nice touch.

They had this really fun candy bar with all kinds of white and silver candy. So chic!

Their (second) first dance. ;)
They shared a wonderful meal with their guests served family style.

I loved the photographs that were hanging in the hallways.

Party time!!

This friend could dance!! She entertained the crowd with all her moves, including Soulja Boy.
