365 - Week 13

I'll admit that last week was photographically uneventful. So I had to come up with a project for the week. In the spirit of all that is Spring and Easter, I honor the jelly bean.
Ironically, I actually don't really like jelly beans. I can put up with the Starburst and Sweet Tart jelly beans, but that's it. There's a little bit of trivia about me.

Julie's Bridal Session

The wedding has already occurred so it's safe to show the bridal session - I've been waiting to show them since February!
I love the location Julie chose for her session! Here's a note to all brides: beautiful venues may cost extra for your session, but it can be so worth it. Ironically enough, a few of these were shot in the bathroom!

Becca and Josh's engagement session

I met up with Becca and Josh in the Heights on a beautiful spring day and we whistled the "Chicken Dance" throughout the shoot. They were so easy to work with and barely needed any direction - they made my job too easy. Thanks for being so easy going and willing to do whatever I came up with. I enjoyed watching you enjoy each other's company.

365 - Week 12

A full week!!! Yea, I did it!

This stop sign has only been here since mid-February and now it's going to be removed. But why go through the effort (and money) to make a sign to inform everyone that it will be taken down? Why not just take it down?

Did you read the title? Yes, this is from back in November 2008. I went out by myself one afternoon just shooting for fun and came up with some stuff that I liked. I'll be posting them in spurts.

I spent the late afternoon at Old Town Spring. The trees are amazing!

I love it when the light shines through leaves and makes them almost translucent. I couldn't decide which look I liked, so I made a collection.

365 - Week 11

Another week, yea! (And several days behind in posting this, oops) I'll admit, some days are getting hard to fill, especially the days that I just work all day and I don't go out. But I'll try to come up with something.

Sunday - A ring shot from a wedding we shot at Hotel Zaza over a week ago. I loved the lighting inside!


Wednesday - My afternoon snack.

Thursday - Playing with reflections.


Friday - I realize this doesn't look like anything to you, but to me it represents success. Humor me.


Saturday - This is what it looked like outside during Saturday's wedding at La Tranquila Ranch. Beautiful!
