In shooting weddings, we see a lot of churches and venues and some stick out more than others. Stephanie and John chose this beautiful church, Our Lady of Walsingham Church, where Stephanie's family attends. When I walked into the church, I felt like I was in a European church. The ceremony that followed was a beautiful 2 hour ceremony with a beautiful choir singing up in the loft. It really looked like a royal wedding from where I was standing up in the loft.
A few more pics to come tomorrow.....
Check out more shots on Ashley's blog.
A little history on the church: this is a brand new building because they used to congregate in a smaller building next door. The outside has such an English look to it with the stone and the design.

Do you feel like you're in Europe? Look at those amazing arches everywhere!
The stained glass windows have been recently added, one at a time, because they were hand-made and installed. This is one of the windows with a bit of an optical illusion.

The bride was in need of a snack, so one of her bridesmaids offered her some gummi bears, and then they were all eating gummi bears.
That's my little bride-and-groom gummi bears in the background :)

The mother of the bride in the hallway before the chaos begins.

The groom and his guys.

The bride's maid of honor flew in from South Korea MOMENTS before the ceremony started. Wow, I wasn't sure if she'd make it, but she did! And the bride was so excited to see her! So, they were going over a few last minute notes before the ceremony.
Moments before the ceremony, the girls hanging out in the bride's room.
The ceremony is about to start and the bride is calmly hanging out with her father in the bride's room. They were sharing a conversation in german, which just added to the whole European feel for me.

I love that she's trying to peek through the window to see inside the church.

This little guy is an active little boy! He loves walking and crawling around.
Yea, they're married!
