You wouldn't be able to tell, but we were surrounded by chaos and sound as rush hour traffic zoomed back and forth. We made our way through Memorial Park and then up the road closer to downtown. Layne and Leah (and Cooper) were so relaxed and easy going and helped make it an easy afternoon. Thanks guys!

Monday Thoughts - edited

Ok, a few things:

-Since I'm not able to upgrade my jukebox on my website and I do want a variety of songs to be played, I'll be switching out the songs every few days. You'll hearing songs from Colplay, Kevin Max, Royksopp, Andy Hunter, and others, including the original three songs I had. I'm a music nut, I can't help it.

-I'm working on a slideshow for the trip I took to Colombia. It will be snazzy!! (I hope :) ) It's a group effort since we have pictures that each person took, and we also have short interview clips from each of us about the trip. I'll see if I can post it here when I'm finished with it.

-I finally watched 'Ocean's 13.' I like it. It was ok. I also saw 'In America' and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. I have two movies in queue: 'Amazing Grace' and 'Beyond the Spear.'

-I was hoping to have a lower-committment December, but already in the first two weekends, it's getting crazy.

-I need to start working on Christmas cards. I want to order my own, so I need to get moving on that.

**-edited to say: Goode Company makes the best pecan pie. And as one who doesn't particularly care for pecan pie, that's saying a lot. Does anyone challenge this?

Somehow they just know when you want them to be on their best behavior......and they do the opposite! Little Rusty was bound and determined to not make it an easy afternoon for us, but he made it interesting. All in all, he did a good job at just being cute!

Post-Thanksgiving

Happy Day-Late Thanksgiving to you all!

I made a great cornbread stuffing - from scratch!! I made my own cornbread with rosemary and then crumbled it to make the stuffing. Yum, yum.

So it only follows that I would go to the park today and do a few laps around. I have been working o a few sessions from this past week, so if you had your picture taken by me this week, I'm almost done!

I need to start working on my Christmas cards, so I thought about that while I made my laps around the park.

We went out and had a shoot with Mireille after the sun had set. She was great and patient as I tried a few new things and tried some stuff out.

Monday, again

It was a long weekend and I'm exhausted. It's catching up to me.
But I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving. I might try to sleep in on Thursday, woo hoo!!!

-I think it's train season. If there is such a thing. I've stopped for more trains in the past six weeks than the whole year combined.

-I have the Ocean's 13 dvd, but I've never seen it before. I hope I like it. I also bought 'Amazing Grace', another movie I haven't seen.

-I'm making stuffing for Thanksgiving and I need to find a recipe.

-I guess I should start shopping for Christmas. Two years ago, I started shopping little by little in September and it was the best thing ever. I should have done that again.

Been listening to the Robbie Seay Band and Caedmon's Call 'Share the Well.'

Impact Flag Football - CHAMPIONS!!

Monday Thoughts

After a two week absence, it's time for more rambling thoughts:

-I went to see Eisley and Mute Math at the The Warehouse last night. Rock on!!!!! I love Eisley's sound and lyrics. They harmonize real well. If you've never seen Mute Math, they are quite a sight. The drummer is fun to watch and then Paul, the lead singer, jumps all over the place: on top of the drums, on top of his keyboard. At one point, the drummer took one of his drums and gave it to the people in the front to hold for him, then he stood on top of it! From there, he grabbed onto the truss above him and monkey-barred his way back to the front of the stage. Crazy!!!

-I just got back from my two weeks in Colombia so I'm trying to catch up on so many things: e-mail, phone calls, work, deadlines, etc.

-Ok, no more thoughts. I'm stuck watching Mute Math videos on You Tube. Here's another one with the drummer in it, but it's not about their music. Check it out, it's pretty neat.

Jacquie and Kris's wedding day - lots of pictures!!!!

Sun, sea, and sand.....and a wedding! Jacquie and Kris rocked the house with a destination wedding in Florida. Friends and family flew in from all over to be there for their special day and they were able to enjoy time at the pool and the beach.
