365 - Week 27......Catching up! Part 4

Every photographer needs a good pictures of themselves so we depend on our friends to help us out in that department. After an informal meet up with Ashley and Matthew, we spent a little time shooting each other and trying out new things and learning from each other.

I always love a day wedding! I must have laughed the whole day with Amanda and Justin and their bridal party. Hilarious! And I shot alongside Ashley to make a beautiful day!

Becky and Chris's wedding day

I'm trying to catch up on my blogging so here it goes!
Becky and Chris got married back in May and I shot this wedding with Ashley and it was one of the most relaxed days! Becky and Chris were so calm and easy going and just enjoyed the day with the friends and family surrounding them.

Becky loved playing with all the girls that were part of her day.





It was so sweet to see them talking to each other throughout the ceremony - they just couldn't contain themselves.

Katie and Kyle's wedding day

Katie and Kyle picked this cute little white chapel to get married at and they had a wonderful time with friends and family. Their flower girl was the funniest and most interesting flower girl I've ever come across. She was fun to just listen to.

Stephanie and Michael's wedding day

Stephanie and Mike ended up having beautiful weather on their wedding day despite the rain earlier in the rain.

The maid of honor paid a practical joke on the bride. All the bridesmaids surprised the bride by wearing hillbilly teeth. She was tickled!

She was so cute while the groom removed the garter. As any true Aggie, they did the Aggie War Hymn during the reception, and of course, there were some "others."

Thuy and Quoc's wedding day

A looooong day, but another great Ashley K Photography wedding. Check her site for more pictures from the same day. Thuy and Quoc are such a lovely couple and very sweet to each other and others around them. I enjoyed the day, especially learning more about the tea ceremony. Granted, I didn't understand a single word, but I still enjoyed being a part of it.

She's getting ready for the traditional tea ceremony in the morning and people are about to start arriving.


This is Max the beloved dog. They had a tux just for him and he was a champ. He let them put it on him and he did well with photographs.


The bride and groom, just minutes before seeing each other. Does he look happy or what??



These are a few shots from the tea ceremony including one of each of the grandmothers. In the first picture, Quoc is seeing his bride for the first time that day, kind of as if she'd walked down the aisle, but without the church and the pews and the priest, and you get it.


Quoc helps his brother (Best Man) get ready before the Catcholic ceremony. Thuy is ready to walk down the aisle with her father.


He looks like the happiest groom! He stole a glance at her.
