Baby Rushing has just turned 3 months old so we did a portrait session for her. You may remember her mommy and daddy from the maternity session. When we did the session, the baby was sooo close to being born, but they didn't know when. Well, I found out at this session that they went into labor that night in the wee hours of the morning. So maybe moving around so much for the pictures helped things along :)
For many sessions, I usually have a Plan A, and then maybe a Plan B. This time things didn't go exactly as I had planned because I really wanted to have a sleeping baby to take pictures of. And no ma'am, she wouldn't have any of that sleeping business. So we improvised. And I love the results. Until next time, guys!
To see the rest of the images, go to my website http://www.karellephotography.com/ and click on 'Digital Studio' on the far right. From there, follow the instructions and look for Baby Rushing's 3 month portrait session. You'll see the images that are on my blog and the rest of the images.
Meet Baby Rushing......
.
......and her feet.
On occasion I take a behind-the-scenes picture to show how hard the parents were having to work to get her to smile.
And I like to title this one, "Suckers!"

Mothers and their babies share special moments when they're feeding and trying to get the baby to sleep. Baby Rushing likes to sleep on her mommy's chest and it's so cute!

The cute little family!

Daddy's big girl!

Daddy's grandmother made him a quilt when he was a baby and they wanted to use it during the session. She didn't like not having any clothes on so there went my Plan A. But she loved being covered with the quilt so we went with it and it turned out great.

It's always such a compliment to know that people are familiar with the pictures on my site. They wanted to have a shot done "just like the one on my website." So we did this final shot.
