These kids have personality! They brought some Elvis glasses and we definitely had to get some shots with those. The best kids's shots are captured when they're just being themselves, and these two served up plenty of that.

Christmas mini-sessions - Vasquez family
Do they look Christmas-y or what? Yes, they looked ready for the holidays, and I think they laughed through about 75% of the session, which makes it fun for everyone. "What happens at the session stays at the session." I'm just quoting those infamous words.

Christmas mini-sessions - Meek Family
The Meeks made a quick stop for their session during their busy day and we made our way around the area to grab some shots. I know that every teenager LOVES having family pictures, and the Meeks kids were no exception. *wink* They did a great job and even smiled for most shots. Thanks for being great sports!

Cindy and Bryan's wedding day
Cindy and Bryan's day was a little bit different than other weddings because we were just there for the reception since they'd already gotten married shortly before the reception. And they went all the way with the reception!
To see Ashley's shots, click here.
We met at Cindy and Bryan's house for a little bit and got some great detail shots.
Cindy is beautiful!!!!
Everything about the day was beautiful - the flowers, the colors, all the small details, everything!
Yum!!
Their first dance - so sweet!
Their guests had so much fun! There was so much going on and they partied into the night.
These little kids were all funny. The last little guy was such a ham!!! You should have seen him dancing.
Enough said.

Abrahams family session
As a gift to their parents, the Abrahams kids purchased a family photo session so we were finally to get together after being moved around because of the big storm.
They kept telling me that they didn't know what to do or didn't know how to act casual, but they did a fine job - you guys look great!

The kids with mom and dad, and with grandparents.
We had the photo session on the golf course at the country club. It was beautiful! And such a perfect day.
Everyone needs a good snack while we're taking pictures.
The family hanging out.
The girls, the boys, and the kids.
I loved all these little moments.
Aren't these kids gorgeous? You can see why!

Mini-Sessions for Christmas!!!
Two dates have been chosen for this year's mini sessions: Sunday November 16 in Cypress and Sunday November 23 around the Memorial Park area.
To secure a time, email me at dianna@karellephotography.com and I'll give you more information about locations.
The custom cards will be ordered after you've selected an image for the cards. They can be ordered either as flat cards or folded cards in sets of 24. Additional sets of 24 can be ordered. For more information about the cards, go to the Karelle Photography Goodies blog (http://karellephotographygoodies.blogspot.com/).
What to wear: coordinating clothing, but not necessarily matching. Try to stay away from distracting patterns, sleeveless tops, and shorts. You can be creative!!
You might be thinking you don't "qualify" for a mini-session because you don't have kids or the camera broke last time you had your picture taken or it's not cold enough for "Christmas" pictures, but those aren't good excuses!! Mini-sessions are for everyone! Include your pets in the session (no reptiles, please!), bring your best friend, or your sibling, or favorite niece or nephew - be creative!
And if you're absolutely convinced that this isn't for you (or even if it is for you), then do me a favor, please? Pass this on to any friends or family that might be interested in a mini- session this month. Be a hero and give a mini-session as a gift!
For any questions, booking, and payment arrangements, email me at dianna@karellephotography.com

Macicek family session
The Maciceks wanted to have some family portraits taken of the three of them before any new additions to the family come along. So we got together on a very beautiful evening and played around in a field and in a small pumpkin patch. The little guy is VERY into walking and likes to walk everywhere and is constantly moving. He certainly kept ME moving, too. We came up with some fun shots, which was easy because they did so well with the session! Thank guys for having fun with the session!

The family, walking.
And walking some more.
Still walking, because I tell ya, he doesn't stay still for long. He's a typical little boy!
We're not finished walking yet.
Ok, now it's time to play!!
Momentarily distracted by a plane.
But not for long!! Playing again!
Playing with mommy!

Ok, take a good look - he was entranced by this water fountain and therefore he was still for several minutes!! WOW!

Go team!!
Such a cute little guy.

Chambers family session
It's been a year since you've seen this little one. And now she's a year old and walking! We got together to do a session for Charis but also with the family, so it's kind of a family session with an emphasis on Charis. So that explains why you'll see more pictures of her than the others.
We were bound and determined to do the session on this particular day and not even the rain was going to stop us this time. And thankfully it was a beautiful day! And the Chambers family showed up ready to go. I'll stop chattering and just get to the pictures so you can see all the cuteness.
To see the rest of the images, go to my website http://www.karellephotography.com/ and click on 'Digital Studio' on the far right. From there, follow the instructions and look for Chambers family session. You'll see the images that are on my blog and the rest of the images.
I love this particular series of mom and son, so sweet!
And then this shared moment, too, so ........silly!
A family wrestling match! Well, not really wrestling, but still a great moment.
Yes, Charis is a year old and she wants to walk all the time.

Father and son, showing their best faces.
She's a sweet little girl.
Ok, ok, I realize you might not blow this picture up to put over the mantle, but it's still funny.
I think this is one of my favorites!

How cute is she?

Playin' around
These are the moments that remind of us of their age at this point in time, when they were still holding on to fingers in order to stand up.
And what one year old is complete without a birthday cake?
