Melanie and Trey, Part 2

The other half of Melanie and Trey's great wedding day!
The reception was held at the Courtyard on St. James, which is such an elegant place.

Ashley K Photography has some of the best clients. We really enjoyed our day with Melanie and Trey. They are so opposite and yet so good together.

You can see the groom right as the bride is about to walk down the aisle, and right before everyone stands to turn around.






I have seen few brides as outwardly happy as Melanie was during the ceremony and especially when they were officially married. She is sooooooo happy.

New site

Ok, I know I already mentioned the new site and all, but it was kind of in passing and didnt' truly reflect how excited I am about it.

Grab a little bag of confetti and toss it around!! Woo hoo! Let's celebrate virtually.

I added lots of new stuff from this year and I hope to keep to up with adding stuff as it happens. I'm not completely finished as there are some things I need to fine-tune. So if you see something that's not right, let me know!

Little Daisy

I've enjoyed the two times that I've housesat for this little doggie. On the first day or two each time, she is NOT my friend. She's sad that her mommy and daddy have left. But she eventually warms up to me. She's also not a fan of the camera. But Daisy has a few things she'd like to say.


"That's one of my toys. Truthfully, it shouldn't be up there because I'm not allowed on the furniture. At least, that's what they tell me."


"Hi, my name is Daisy."



"Long day! *YAWN* Wow, yeah, long day. I got up this morning, crawled into my bed, took a nap, ran over to grab a bite, ran all the way back to my bed for another nap, woke up and worked out my neck to take a look around, went back to sleep, woke up again and walked aaaallll the way over to my food dish.......well, you get the idea. It's been a loooong day."



"Excuse me, what are you doing up there?"


"Aren't I cute?"



"Um, hey, Uncle Bob, I think you cut my head off. Seriously, Photography 101."


*SIGH* "Time for a nap......."



"Again with the cropping of the head and body?"



"Oh good grief, it's you again?? No, pictures please!"



"Seriously, no pictures please."



"Oh, no, you caught me. You're like the paparazzi! Oh, please don't tell my humans that I'm up on the couch! Ignorance is bliss for them."



"Ok, fine, I'll smile and say cheese. Tell me when."



"Um, cheese? I hear that when you shoot from above, it's more flattering. It elongates the neck and gets rid of double chins. But don't you think I'm elongated enough? And are you trying to tell me I have a double chin????"


*YAWN* "It's about time for another nap. This photo shoot thing is wearing. Aren't YOU tired yet?"



"Sometimes I like to get out for a change of pace. I like to pretend I'm an outdoorsy girl."



"For the love of pete! Keep up or drop the camera. I've got business to take care of - places to be, people to see, things to do."



"Wait."
"I think I see something."



"It was another silly paparazzi. I'm just a normal dog! I only wish to live a normal life! My life is not an open book for the world to see!"



"No comment. Leave me alone."



"I've just about had it with you. Get out of my face or else..........."
