It's always a nice change to have a daytime wedding because the light is wonderful! Lan and Matt not only had a daytime wedding, but it was a beautiful day, too. It really couldn't have been more perfect. We met up with Lan before the ceremony to get a few shots of her before leaving for the church.
I really like the top shoe shot, probably one of my favorites so far.
A beautiful bride!!!
These two are also ranking up there in favorites.
Then the handsome groom. He was a little nervous, but not because he was going to be standing up in front of a lot of people, but because they hadn't had a chance to practice the first dance. Well, you guys did great with the first dance.

Fun details!

Beaumont - Klosterboer family mini-session
You can't tell that it started raining during this session because they were troopers and we kept pushing forward. And I loved the addition of Khaki, the family dog - she's such a good dog!

If you'll notice, Dad is doing a great job of holding the pose even while a horse licks his hand. I might have to admit that I may or may have not continued to take a few extra shots just to see if he'd budge......

Beaumont - Goodman family mini-session
I'd like to think that the Goodman's drove all the way from Oklahoma just to have their picture taken by me, but I'm thinking there were other motivating factors for their visit, like family and Thanksgiving and other wonderful things. Oh well. One of my favorite pictures of the day is the last one in this series because the jump feels so real in the picture.

Beaumont - Venghaus family mini-session
You may recognize the Venghauses from the other Venghaus session earlier, and yes, those little girls still have the same contagious smile! I have no idea what was going on behind my back to solicit such smiles, but I'm sure it was funny.

Ok, I'm not a parent, so I'm not too familiar with the Wiggles, but wow, just say 'Do the monkey,' and these little ones start dancing!!

Beaumont - Mills family mini-session
They're baaaaack! You may remember the Mills from Baby Mills' newborn session and then her 6 month session. Well, she's still just as cute and looking so beautiful in her little tutu.

Beaumont - Harper family mini-session
I love how the Harpers color-coordinated themselves - black/red/white is one of my favorite color combinations! And the tutus!! Goodness, they look great.

The Venghauses
Meet the Venghauses! We got together early one morning to get some shots for their Christmas cards and we all survived the morning! What you're seeing here is grandparents, parents, and the five granddaughters. After the session, they all headeded home for their Thanksgiving celebration - a well deserved meal.

In this first image, I love how the little one is trying to walk and keep up with the rest of them.
The whole crew!
Then we took a few shots of just J&M's family.
Then, just the girls!!!
What little girls are made of.....
I love this series!

Christmas mini-sessions - Simonds Family
These kids have personality! They brought some Elvis glasses and we definitely had to get some shots with those. The best kids's shots are captured when they're just being themselves, and these two served up plenty of that.

Christmas mini-sessions - Vasquez family
Do they look Christmas-y or what? Yes, they looked ready for the holidays, and I think they laughed through about 75% of the session, which makes it fun for everyone. "What happens at the session stays at the session." I'm just quoting those infamous words.

Christmas mini-sessions - Meek Family
The Meeks made a quick stop for their session during their busy day and we made our way around the area to grab some shots. I know that every teenager LOVES having family pictures, and the Meeks kids were no exception. *wink* They did a great job and even smiled for most shots. Thanks for being great sports!

Cindy and Bryan's wedding day
Cindy and Bryan's day was a little bit different than other weddings because we were just there for the reception since they'd already gotten married shortly before the reception. And they went all the way with the reception!
To see Ashley's shots, click here.
We met at Cindy and Bryan's house for a little bit and got some great detail shots.
Cindy is beautiful!!!!
Everything about the day was beautiful - the flowers, the colors, all the small details, everything!
Yum!!
Their first dance - so sweet!
Their guests had so much fun! There was so much going on and they partied into the night.
These little kids were all funny. The last little guy was such a ham!!! You should have seen him dancing.
Enough said.
