Browning Family Session

The Brownings found me through another client of mine, which is always great for me to hear! I showed up to find Little Browning awake, alert, and happy. And I do mean happy. He smiled and looked at me without being distracted by anything else. Until he found his feet. He was a great sport and did amazingly well during the session! And his parents were just as wonderful during the session. Thanks guys for a great session!

Look at that smile!! And by the way, he'd like for you to know that cotton is the tastiest of textiles.

Christmas mini-sessions - Simonds Family

These kids have personality! They brought some Elvis glasses and we definitely had to get some shots with those. The best kids's shots are captured when they're just being themselves, and these two served up plenty of that.

Christmas mini-sessions - Vasquez family

Do they look Christmas-y or what? Yes, they looked ready for the holidays, and I think they laughed through about 75% of the session, which makes it fun for everyone. "What happens at the session stays at the session." I'm just quoting those infamous words.

Christmas mini-sessions - Meek Family

The Meeks made a quick stop for their session during their busy day and we made our way around the area to grab some shots. I know that every teenager LOVES having family pictures, and the Meeks kids were no exception. *wink* They did a great job and even smiled for most shots. Thanks for being great sports!

Christie's headshots

It's very difficult to shoot for another photographer because they know what you're doing and you want to try to live up to their vision and idea. So I was a bit nervous to shoot a few headshots for my friend Christie. And we also had lots of people around us and maybe watching us because there were several groups warming up for the D.C.I. competition. We wanted to make it a quick shoot so that we could go watch the performance and then we found out we couldn't take our cameras in, bummer! Oh well. We watched several performances and relived some of our own high school band days. We finished off the night with some amazing Dippin Dots - seriously, those are really cool!

Vanessa and Ray's family session

If you could imagine the most perfect day in Houston of the whole year, that was the day we shot some portraits for Vanessa and Ray's family. The wind was blowing, the temperature was perfect. We met at a park in Cypress, then went out to a field to finish up the session and let the kids run and play. The kids were full of energy so we let them play, then shoot a few shots, make them fun, then let them play again. Thanks Vanessa and Ray for being so easy going!
