Jodee and Ian's engagement session

I tell myself that I'm only going to pick a few pictures to post on the blog, but sometimes I can't help myself. I couldn't stop at just 20 of Jodee and Ian, it just wasn't possible.
Check them out in all their fun and cuteness. They were so much fun to work with and so wonderful to watch together. Leave them comments to let them know how much you love their pictures!

Marlo and Darel's engagement session

First session of the year!! We headed downtown to shoot on New Years Day and what better way to ring in the new year than by doing something I love. Marlo and Darel did a great job of being themselves and having fun with it. I may have tired them out by dragging them all over downtown, but I think it was worth it, right?? Thanks for being so fun to hang out with!

Cindy and Bryan's wedding day

Cindy and Bryan's day was a little bit different than other weddings because we were just there for the reception since they'd already gotten married shortly before the reception. And they went all the way with the reception!

To see Ashley's shots, click here.

We met at Cindy and Bryan's house for a little bit and got some great detail shots.

Jacquie and Kris

I have a few sessions that I'm waaaaay behind on. And this is one of them.
Jacquie and Kris met up with me in downtown Houston for a fun little afternoon session. A few key elements didn't work out quite as I would have liked: there wasn't any sun and it was very cloudy, it was quite windy and chilly, I was missing a piece of my lightstand and I didn't have an assistant so I couldn't use any supplemental lighting, and I was incredibly hoarse so I had a harder time communicating with them than normal. We improvised and I went in a different direction. They were so patient with me as a I was trying a few new things and just experimenting with them.
Jac and Kris were so much fun to work with! And goofy! You'll never have a down moment when you're with them. You may recognize them from their wedding in Florida this past October or you may remember Jacquie's bridals from back then.

Can you tell how windy it is?

Awww, so cute!

These shots were fun, and mildy dangerous. It's kind of a rush to be out in the middle of the street but not enough to really want to make a sport out of it ;)

Ahyana and Vahojeh's engagement session

I loved the line, "He seemed nice so I gave him my real number." Way to go, Vahojeh, for being a nice guy and capturing Ahyana's heart.

We had our session in downtown Houston and just walked around and stopped as we felt like it. They were up for anything, even laying down on the sidewalk or jumping out in the middle of the street. When I asked them what their interests are, they told me, "eating!" "We love to eat!" Sweet, me too!

Guys, ya'll were great and so easy to work with! I hope you're wedding goes great. Let me see pictures when you get back!!!!
