Not to be confused with Mother's day, we celebrated my mom's birthday the week before. I decided to make the cake rather than just buy one. So I used an angel food cake and some fresh berries. Don't look too closely at it. It's not spectacular, but it sure was yummy. My cousins came over and we enjoyed cake and presents.
