A thought

To start off, my new website still isn't up :( Waiting. And in the meantime, there have been server problems, so it may be up, and it may not be.

I was driving to the store tonight and waiting to make a right turn when I saw what I thought was a motorcyclist. I thought to myself, "I want to make sure I'm very careful since there's a motorcyclist on the road."

When the guy passed me, I realized it was a moped, to which I thought, "All the more, I want to make sure I'm very careful since there's a mopedist.......a mopeder......um......."

What do you call a person who rides a moped? No, I don't have a punchline. Maybe a mopedier? No idea.

Hey Dianna...I asked my Mom since they own mopeds and this is her technical response:

A moped is a 50 cc scooter. So a "mopedist" or "mopeder" would only be descriptive of someone driving a 50 cc scooter. That is the smallest scooter.....like the tiny one we first bought. They only go about 35 mph. When describing anything larger, we always referred to those riders as cyclists. Mine was an 80 cc and Dad's was a 125 cc

Well..there ya go... :)
