We're picking up where we left off from yesterday with Amanda and Mike's wedding day.
After the ceremony, we headed over the Cohen House at Rice University for a few more family pictures since we'd done almost all the family and bridal pictures before the ceremony.

I took Amanda and Mike aside to get a few pictures of just the two of them. I wanted these to be very casual and they did great with these pictures. Because of the time of day, the sun was peeking through the trees and we had great lighting right at that moment.

Oh, and did I mention that Amanda changed dresses for the reception? How cool is that? This beautiful was also very pretty and very fun to dance in.

Hmmmm.....not sure what was going on at this moment, but I think it's fun that I caught the moment.

I'd like to title this one, "No, I don't want to eat my peas!"

The toasts brought on this look - wish I could remember what was said at that very moment.
The first dance.
Every little girl's dream.

Ok, why do they both look suspicious? Might it be because of the chants of, "Smash it in his face!", "Smash it in her face!"
They played nice (and sweet) and just did a dot of icing on each other's nose. Good job, Mike, you won major brownie points that day. :)

"Hmmmm........through the loop, over the knot?"

Long gone are the days of "tossing" bird seed or rice. No, now it's "hurling" the bird seed, rose petals, rice, etc. at the innocent bride and groom. And it's not just the bird seed once you unwrap it from the lace it comes in, but maybe perhaps the whole thing without unwrapping it or untying the bow. If you look carefully, you'll see a projectile object coming in from the left heading straight for Amanda and Mike.
And it doesn't stop when they reach the car. No, as long as there is bird seed, it must be thrown.

One final hug as they drive off!
