I'm sure you'll remember Amanda and Mike from their totally slammin' engagement session and trash-the-dress session a few months back. Well, now it's time for their wedding.
I met up with Amanda at the bed and breakfast where the girls were getting ready. We spent a little while there getting some detail shots and some dress shots and the such. Her dress is beautiful!! I love the lace and the style of it. Good pick, Amanda!
The ceremony was held at the Chapel of St. Basil on the St. Thomas University. It was a perfect day for a wedding with the beautiful weather that day. Amanda and Mike had opted early on to see each other before the wedding so they could share a private moment before the hustle and bustle of the day began. I always love when couples decide to do this because it makes for great pictures, and also, they are usually less nervous the rest of the day. But it's a personal choice.
Amanda and Mike, thanks for being so willing to do everything to get great pictures. Thanks for the few minutes afterwards to get those last shots. Ya'll were great and you had a beautiful wedding day.
The second part of the day will be posted tomorrow so come back for more! Thanks to Susan for your help on the wedding day with your assistance!
To see the rest of the images, go to my website http://www.karellephotography.com/ and click on 'Digital Studio' on the far right. From there, follow the instructions and look for Mike and Amanda's wedding day. You'll see the images that are on my blog and the rest of the images.
See what I mean about the dress? It's beautiful.
A few last preparations before getting dressed.
Such a nice gift!

I love how you can see the pattern of the lace, ever so delicately.
Chapel of St. Basil - see the sky? It was a beautiful day.
Anyone who is familiar with the chapel or the campus would immediately recognize this detail of the chapel.
The groom shows up and looks very happy!
Mike is waiting to see his bride.
And Amanda is eager to see her groom.

I thought the umbrella was such a unique touch!! So classy and pretty.

I loved Amanda's veil. It's so unique and beautiful and vintage.

Beautiful!!!

The girls are lined up to walk down the aisle.

The proud parents look on as Amanda makes her way down the aisle.

She couldn't hide her excitement!!
