The Thiessen family

A little while ago, I received an inquiry for a family session. But this wasn't just any old inquiry. The "inquirer" was looking for a special family session to include her two parents because they don't get the chance to travel to Houston from Canada very often, and her two sons who are in high school and going off to college. From reading her emails, I could definitely tell that she absolutely cherishes her family and wants to preserve their memory. I love this kind of client! And I read this in the email: "Listen, I'll supply the people and the love, you'll provide the artistic eye, brilliant ideas, and the camera and God will provide the magic...I just know it's going to be something special..."

Wow. I absolutely wanted to photograph this family. Looking back at the pictures, I was still laughing at some of the events of the day.
