Little John just turned a year old so we took did a portrait session for him the day before his big birthday. He loves walking around and wasn't too happy when he wasn't able to be on his two little feet. It turned out to be an eventful afternoon.
To see the rest of the images, go to my website http://www.karellephotography.com/ and click on 'Portraits', then 'View in Same Window', 'Digital Studio' on the far right. From there, follow the instructions and look for Bethancourt One Year Session. You'll see the images that are on my blog and the rest of the images.
I like to call this one, "No pictures, please!"

This one brings up memories from my childhood of a broken piggy bank, a broken front window screen, and an ice cream truck. A story for another time.
He's at the stage where he likes to clap.

This is a cute little game they play - something like Bumblebee or something? Not sure. Anywho, he's 'buzzed' like a bumblebee and he really gets a kick out of it.

Oh, who's that big boy standing on his own two feet?

My favorite thing about this picture is the connection that shows in this picture. So sweet!
What's a one year old session without a little birthday cake??
Yum!

The next four images are more in the style of 'lifestyle' pictures. Just snapshots of the mundane moments in life, but that's more the reality of day t0 day life.
The 'eventfulness' happened when John fell over and busted his little lip. These next two pictures were taken right after that happened.

I really enjoy these next two images because these are probably closer to everyday life than the other "planned" shots.

I worked on a little collage that I think is just so cute titled 'Lil Hands.'

PRECIOUS! it's amazing the depth of relationship with His parents that is so clear through the pictures. WELL DONE.
Beautiful images, Dianna. I think the first one is funny... "Show's over, lady. No more pictures."
Awesome pictures Dianna! What a cute little angel!
