This is the first series of pictures from this beautiful wedding. It was a perfect day: blue skies and no rain, a cute little white chapel, a homey bed and breakfast where the reception was held, and a fun bridal party. I'll be rolling out the pictures over the next few days.

Part two
This is part two from yesterday's wedding. There were two little boys that were so cute. The little blonde one really had a knack for dancing. And he enjoyed looking at my camera! I think Ashley may have caught a picture of the kid talking to me.

Mo's Birthday
Why haven't I been blogging?
Because I've been having a life!! .........and working.
Today was Mo's birthday so we went out for sushi and it was a really cool restaurant in Rice Village, I think (not sure where the boundary lies.) Everyone ordered something different and it was interesting to see the different dishes: different sushi types, scallps on clam shells, buckwheat noodles with vegetables, volcano sushi, and other things I didn't recognize.
Then we changed our plans and headed over to one of my most favorite places in Houston - The Chocolate Bar! If you live in Houston and you haven't been there, you seriously have no idea what you're missing out on. They don't have a website, but here's an article about them. Everything is made in-house, including all the candy, ice cream, and cakes. I ordered the Triple Truffle Torte, or something like that. It was seriously the richest thing I've had and it was soooooo good that I could only eat half of it.
While we were sitting around enjoying our goodies, Sam Malone, the DJ from MIX 96.5, walked in with some other people (wife and friends?) It was fun to see a local celebrity in person just hanging out on a Saturday night.
It was a fun night and I'm glad I got to hang out, so Happy Birthday Mo!!!

Yea!
I've had a productive day and I was able to get my bookkeeping almost completely up-to-date, including mileage and an equipment list. I feel so business-ly!
I hope to have some pictures up sometime soon, promise!

Monday thoughts
-I'm recovering from being sick this weekend. I'm doing better.
-I'm trying to keep a mental list of songs I want to add to my ipod: Brandon Heath's "I'm Not Who I Was", Bon Jovi's "Living on a Prayer", and others that I can't remember at this moment.
-I just found out this weekend that American Idol has included the song "RISE" by the Robbie Seay Band in several of their ads airing on Fox during the holiday season. This is so exciting for them considering their a lesser known band from Houston. Show them some support by purchasing their song from itunes.
-There are way too many workshops and seminars that I want to sign up for. If I traveled to every single one that I wanted to go to, I'd never get anything done and I'd probably end up spending over $10,000 after registration and expenses. As of right now, I've signed up for WPPI in Las Vegas, Mike Colon and Bob Davis's tour in Dallas, Yervant and Joe Buissink's tour in Houston, and Ed Pierce's seminar in Houston.

I'm still here
Where have I been? I'm been here. Working. Sick. Hanging out with friends and family. Living. And no, no pictures to show today. I'll try to get some this next week. That's my goal.

Busy week
It's been a busy week with work, get-togethers and out of town trips. I was really enjoying the cold winter weather, and then today...........it was up in the seventies!!! I'm trying to dream of a white christmas, of walking in a winter wonderland, and all the things that make winter.....winter!
One of the good things about winter is that any time is a good time for hot chocolate. With lots of whipped cream on top. This was my treat when I met with my friend for breakfast this week. Complete with a souffle.
I took a trip to the George Bush Library with my cousins and family. I walked around and played around with my camera.

I wanted to go for a different view. And yes, that's the color of the sun at that moment since the sun was setting.

Jennifer and Michael's wedding day
I don't know if I've ever taken as many pictures as I did at this wedding. The ceremony was at St. Vincent de Paul in Houston and the reception was at the Renaissance Hotel on Hwy. 59. The DJ did a really great job with the music selection so people were always dancing. I don't think there was ever an empty dance floor. And yes, this cute little bride does get told she looks like Reese Witherspoon.
