Ok, what is it? No, really, WHAT IS IT? I don't know what it is and I'm looking for answers.

Week 31......So excited about this!!!!!

My "cousin" (actually, he's my cousins's cousin) came to Houston for a week and we hung out and did some tourist-y things in Houston. It was a blast! While in conversation, he said something that sparked an idea for me and I came up with this idea to give him something better than just a few pictures of him at each sight. I hope it makes you want to see more of Houston!

Julie and John's wedding day Part 2

The continuation of Julie and John's wedding day. The reception was beautiful! The tables were wonderfully decorated with gorgeous flower arrangements and the cakes were very classy. It's always much more fun when people dance and Julie and John's guests did not disappoint - they can dance!

To see the rest of the images, go to my website http://www.karellephotography.com/ and click on 'Weddings,' then 'Digital Studio', and find "Julie and John's wedding day." You'll see the images that are on my blog and as well as the rest of the images.

Beautiful room!

The detailing on the cake matches the detailing on the back of Julie's dress - very clever! And how cool is the ring cake?

I hadn't seen this before: Julie and John had 12th Man towels for the guests to wave as they exited. Great idea!

Chrissy and Jason's engagement session

I'm looking forward to Chrissy and Jason's wedding day! We went out to Galveston for their engagement session and I found out that they really put a lot of effort into preparing for their session. They had several outfits to pick from and some of them were even new, just for for the session. We started off on the strand and shot while we waited for the sun to go down a little bit, then headed over to the beach. We ended up at the strand again before calling it quits for the night. They were unsure the whole time about whether or not we ended up with any good shots, but how can you not get great pictures of the two of them?
Thanks guys for having so much fun with the session - ya'll were great!!

To see the rest of the images, go to my website http://www.karellephotography.com/ and click on 'Digital Studio' on the far right. From there, follow the instructions and look for Chrissy and Jason's engagement session. You'll see the images that are on my blog and the rest of the images.

The story here is that while they were all serious about posing, I saw two dogs running towards me and they were seemingly alone. Chrissy and Jason took notice of them and it was so funny how these little dogs were just running without skipping a beat and didn't seem to mind that they were running right through the picture.
