Jordan, the lighting Master

A little while ago, I asked my friend Jordan to teach me a few things about off-camera flash. I thought I knew how to do it but apparently I didn't because it never seemed to work for me. I figured out a few things that day, but I've still had problems with it since. This weekend, I think I've come to realize that my flash may actually be malfunctioning, so I may have actually known what I was doing all this time. But here are the shots we took that day as we practiced with the flash.

We took turns shooting so that he could show me how it's done.

Jordan's copping an attitude.

Does this shot remind you of the Planters peanut guy?

Not sure why I was looking directly into the light! But I seemed to really be intent on looking, even jumping up to see it.

It was a very bright day, hence the sunglasses.

A picture at the end just for fun.
