We're picking up where we left off with Shelley and Eric's wedding day. They had their reception at a beautiful manion in Brenham and shared a great time with their guests.

Shelley and Eric's wedding day - Part 1
It was finally Shelley and Eric's wedding day! You'll remember them from their engagement session and then Shelley from her bridal session. We headed out to Brenham to meet up with the family and bridal party for their group pictures before heading to Chappell Hill for the ceremony. It's not every week that you find both a bride and groom with such big smiles all day! But they were both sooooo happy all day and it showed.
Shelley and Eric, ya'll are both so sweet and I loved taking part in your special day.
Come back tomorrow for the second part.

The way fun bridal party.
Them again.
.....and again!

The happy groom waiting for the ceremony to start.
And somewhere out there are pictures of me taking pictures of the groom. The story behind this is that it was raining on the day of the wedding, so I was standing under an umbrella that the groom's father was holding and apparently we were a spectacle worth having our picture taken.
Shelley relaxed in a room with her sisters, mom, bridal party, friends, and family before the ceremony started. They had a sweet prayer time before she headed out.

See the big smile?

More big smiles!
And more smiles......
........and more smiles........
And even more smiles!!

Shelley and Eric's engagement session
I met up with Shelley and Eric one beautiful afternoon this spring for a fun practice session, and now it's their official engagement session. They were helping me with some lighting so that I could try some stuff and I really enjoyed my time with them. We had an interesting afternoon since the sun kept coming out and then hiding behind clouds, and then at one point, it started raining, so we ran for cover. There were also chickens and ducks walking around on the street. It made for an interesting day. But as a result of this day, Shelley and Eric have decided to have their wedding at this location :) So glad I could help in a small way, hehehehe!

Apparently, Eric is ticklish. But I didn't tell you this. So, if you walk up to him and start tickling him, I'm not held responsible for his actions.

So relaxing.

This was probably the best part of the day. We climbed up onto the bales of hay and then just hung out there for a while. I'd thought that the bales would be uncomfortable and scratchy, but I was wrong. It was so relaxing.
This is what happens when Eric gets control of the camera. There's also a shot he took of Shelley......
